Selain dari sisi jumlah yang sudah cukup banyak, media radio tetap dihadapkan dengan kenyataan semakin kecilnya kue iklan. Persaingan yang ada tidak lagi dengan sesame radio namun juga dengan televise lokal yang terkadang memberikan harga mendekati harga jual iklan di radio.
